Meet The Team
Bonnie Kelton grew up in Orange County, CA, and moved to High Point, NC when she was 19. Bonnie has had a variety of jobs, but working in the medical insurance industry started her path here. She worked for United HealthGroup for 6 years, where she was afforded the opportunity to travel to other sites throughout the US to train new hires in the call center role. Bonnie was also hand-selected to work with Bank of America retirees and executives.
As far as personal hobbies go, Bonnie loves anything crafty. She likes to crochet and is teaching herself to oil paint courtesy of old Bob Ross episodes. She is a dog lover, but her favorite dog is little Roxy. Roxy is a silky Yorkie rescue who is the absolute light of Bonnie’s life. Even though she is completely white, she is Bonnie’s shadow and goes everywhere with her. When she was a kid, Bonnie would tell people that she wanted to be a mermaid when she grew up, and she is still holding onto that dream. Bonnie spends as much time as she can at the beach and hope to one day relocate closer to it.
Janet Miller grew up in Clemmons, NC. She is the 3rd of six children of John and Bertha Meyers. Janet graduated from West Forsyth High School and currently resides in Winston Salem, NC. Janet has always put her family first. Her 35 years of marriage to Mike has weathered many events, both happy and sad. They have two children, Jessica and Nathanial. Janet and Mike are grandparents to one granddaughter and very soon a grandson will grace them with his presence.
Janet started her journey in the hearing care industry 18 years ago, after spending years as an educator. Janet started as a patient care coordinator and loved meeting and greeting patients. She loves hearing the stories of the patient’s lives. Janet became a hearing aid specialist 11 years ago and thus continued her journey in the hearing care industry. She is licensed to dispense hearing aids in the state of North Carolina. Janet also received her National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 2017.
While Janet does not have hearing impairment herself, both of her parents were hearing impaired as well as several of her family members. She is very passionate about what she does as a hearing instrument specialist. She wants her patients to feel like they are a part of the family, and to know that she will do all that is in her power to help them live their life in better hearing. She will also help them understand the realities of hearing impairment and give them the tools they need to help them survive this noisy world with their new hearing aids.
