Hearing Healthcare Close to Home
Meet The Team
Jeanne has extensive experience in customer care, having worked in the insurance industry for many years prior to hearing care. She has been involved in hearing care for over ten years, first as a business owner and later as a Patient Care Coordinator for Mountain Ear Hearing. Patient care is her top priority, making sure the patient’s hearing needs are taken care of in the best way possible. Jeanne finds that helping people with hearing loss is especially rewarding, because she has a hearing loss and has been wearing hearing aids for many years.
Also, her motivation to help those affected from hearing loss has a more personal dynamic: Her father had a profound hearing loss that went untreated and saw the debilitating and isolating effects it had on him and the family. Something that could so easily have been prevented with the proper hearing care. She wants to do her best to make sure this never happens to anyone else.
Jeanne enjoys spending time with her family and granddaughter. In her spare time, she is an artist involved in the local art community.
Craig has been involved in healthcare for more than 40 years. First, during his eight years as an active duty Navy Corpsman, he learned the fundamentals of patient care, acquired his education, and served in various capacities at the naval hospitals in Portsmouth Virginia and Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. Craig studied at the Naval School of Health Sciences in Tidewater, VA, George Washington University and Southern Illinois University. Upon leaving the Navy, he continued his education and passion for patient care while working as a Radiology Technologist and Chief MRI Technologist in Jacksonville, FL. Craig’s passion for knowledge and his compassion for all people led him to serve in various capacities in medical and civic settings. Now, for the past 11 years, Craig has served Burke, Rutherford, and McDowell counties as a highly skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist. It is his greatest pleasure to apply his extensive skills and knowledge to the assessment, consultation, treatment and care of people with hearing loss. Craig serves his specialty as the current Vice President of the North Carolina Association of Hearing Care Professionals and previously served two years as the Secretary of that organization. Craig and his wife, Jeanne love spending time with friends at various local music venues and local vineyards where they enjoy the full experience of the excellent wines produced here in their beloved foothills of North Carolina. They live in the middle of twelve acres set between Valdese and Morganton where they enjoy entertaining friends, family, and the loving, exasperation of three springer spaniels.
